Depends.

Are they fat, and has ITV hilariously added comedy sound effects?

Where do the Marx brothers fit in to this - they're funny.

Less funny, however - Karl Marx....
Yes, he was their Stuart Sutcliffe - the fifth Marx.

Why is it silly? Comedians try to be funny, trying to be funny isn't funny, therefore comedians are not funny.
So the most insightful modern philosopher the world has ever produced, who also happened to be a comic, the legendary Bill Hicks wasn't funny?

Nor was

Lenny Bruce
Richard Pryor
Billy Connolly
Bill Bailey

And many many many others?

I'm guessing you find someone slipping on a banana skin hilarious?
No none of them were. And slipping on a banana skin isn't funny either.

Oh, I don't agree with that. The Sarah Silverman show is hilarious, and pushes boundaries. She's quite cute, too.

I got bored of him, then went to see him at the O2, changed my mind he is amusing.
But - Bohemian Rhapsody... just not funny at all, no matter how many times he does it.

nothing more narrow minded than saying a comedian is "not funny"...the very fact they are on TV means that many others disagree. You can say "i dont fnd them funny" or "i don't know why others find them funny, i hate em" but simply "they aren't funny" is ridiculous. It's the sort of retarded thinking that has the Daily Mails forum full of people demanding Ross is dumped from the Beeb because he showed up to the BAFTAs!

Even worse though is people who demand EVERYONE regard their favorite as funny no matter what - the sort of thinking normally reserved for Bill Hicks and similar (who i like, but can quite easily see why others may prefer Dawn French)
