Die Hard was originally conceived as a sequel to Commando
I thought Die Hard was based on a detective novel from the 70s???

Of course they may have been planning to adopt the books story to commandos characters.

Die Hard is a 1988 American action film ... based on the 1979 novel Nothing Lasts Forever by Roderick Thorp.

Die Hard follows its source material — Roderick Thorp's novel Nothing Lasts Forever — closely; many of the film's memorable scenes, characters, and dialogue are taken directly from the novel. Nothing Lasts Forever, a sequel to Thorp's earlier novel The Detective, was written with the intention of being adapted into a film sequel to the film adaptation of The Detective, which starred Frank Sinatra.

Googled, think the QEII may be wrong, it says at 28.5 knots its 50 feet per gallon, and at 20 knots, its 125 knots per gallon.

You can easily make a palindrome longer using the palindrome "sides reversed is".

Was it a car or a cat I saw, sides reversed is, was it a car or a cat I saw?

It was going to be adapted to fit the Commando universe, confirmed by the Director in the dvd commentary

....what about Lance Henrikson?
good call, he was in Aliens v Predator wasn't he
Bishop wasn't actually killed by the Alien Queen
He was torn in half by the Alien Queen, and was subsequently re/deactivated by Ripley on the Prison planet as a result of the crash caused by the Alien Queen leaving eggs on the ship. Although technically the Alien Queen didn't kill him directly he did die as a result of her actions, thus, I stick to my guns smile

If it wasn't for the crash he would have survived the crash, so ignoring the definition of "killing" a synthetic looks like we'll have to agree to disagree tongue out
