Seriously? the other one is forgivable but there was this whole war thing not too long ago. You know where we bombed Serbia into the stone age. Remeber Bosnia? Kosovo? Never seen croatia play a football match? Honest guv, I dont read the papers much, never watch football. I find most papers are just crap, as I dont follow sport, no point of buying the papers really, might watch BBC news now and again, yes did know about Serbia.

Saw a stunning Morgan today, to which my misses said "Oh thats one of those kit cars isnt it?"....... Fortunately the owner was out of earshot. Bless her, she may not be the brightest when it comes to cars, but she is a wonderfull mother to our tribe.

Last weekend we were going round the the brother in law & his wife for a meal and were collecting the sister on law on the way.
So, I asked "what time are we picking your sister up?" "On the way" she replied "Yes, but when" "On the way to Paul," she says a bit louder " I know who and where" I said "But WHEN" "ON THE WAY TO PAUL" SO I took a deep breath and asked " I know that but what time? i.e 4.00 maybe, or 4.30? So I got "the look" "oh, 4.00ish I suppose"
So that was OK
So at about 8.00 I said "when do you want to go home" Reply "I don't want to be late back"
Christ here we go again!!!

Only found this out recently when trying to explain when to change gear to keep the turbo above its threshold revs!! She was changing gear on engine note alone for the last 12 years! don't know whether to be proud or appalled

Exactly, its impressive that she can do it and therefore has good mechanical sympathy. But to not know what a rev counter does? i'd say she's evened out lol

I stopped looking at rev counters when my car's automatic choke (is that correct?) stuck on. It would continue to run/rev/behave in a deranged fashion even after I had supposedly switched off the engine, taken the key out and walked away.
