Here's some pictures I took from under Leeds City Centre on my birthday (Yes I do odd things to celebrate my birthday, last year I was messin about in bradfords storm releif system)

Haven't bothered editing these pictures

Hope you enjoy

Saw some weird pictures taped onto the walls quite far into one of the underground sections

Also tried some funky stuff, need to work on it but I like this one

Back in 2002 when I worked for a car dealership in East London we rented the old Next store, in tobacco dock , a closed shopping centre, while our site was being redeveloped .

Christ it was spooky, apart from a tiny sandwich bar we were the only tenants

Owned by an Arab I was told, who only brought it for the multi storey car park next door, we had levels 1-9, level 0 has garages built into it, containing his private car collection.

Closed shopping centres are often used for those Zombie Apocalypse things, I understand. Sounds like a giggle - pay a load of people a pittance to be zombies, and then charge the zombie hunters lots of money to attend, and set them loose in a closed shopping centre. The one in Reading (that has since been redeveloped) was often used, I understand.

The yanks really need to start tidying up after themselves - the place is a fking mess. You'd think the value of scrap metal in recent years would have been enough incentive - but no. Move onto the next site. Just leave the old one.

I'm not normally affected (to badly) by heights.. but that was the stuff of nightmares!
I think that has to be one of, if not 'the' one, of the most basic of human primeval fears. The fear of falling..! yikeshurl

In reply to the slightly off topic climbing vid, I think this one is even more scary. There was a better version somewhere.

LOL! Dannyscene, scuttling around beneath Leeds like a sewer rat! It's intriguing to see what lies under your feet or hidden away a short distance from the hustle and bustle.Great pics, keep em coming.

Cheers mate, this really is a very easy one to do and doesn't present many risks associated with being underground, decent beginner stroll more than anything but its one I've always enjoyed and pop down whenever I have time to kill

Went to Berlin a couple of years ago and this was one of the 'sights' we wanted to go and see. Found out about it as prior to going we had watched the film Hanna and the closing scenes were set there. It was easy enough to get in but there seemed to be a bit of activity going on inside so we kept out.

No idea where in Germany this is but strange it had lead lined walls and multiple steel doors?

I'd suggest somewhere near/in the Czech border where there are plenty of Russian military sites. I have been down similar bunkers in Mimon around the airbase in the Czech Republic, which was a nuclear facility.

That's brilliant, what could it be? Certainly looks like it's built to survive a nuclear attack.

Slightly off topic. But this hospital in Scotland had a pretty scary extra visitor for the urbex enthusiasts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgEkDWRb9IM

Personally if that crept up behind me while I was in a derp I'd react by swinging my tripod at it

Don't want to piss on your fire but that video is faked reactions
