Very bored at home at mo, due to illness. Spotted this the other week whilst we were in Belfast doing a show.

Go Scotland.
The rigs are out at sea for a number of years drilling, then get towed in for refurb. They get anchored just off the shore until the current one is done.
All you need is a boat. Get on in the early hours before the workers start and off after and you'll be fine.
We got clocked and got had the old bill waiting for us on the shore.

I'm not normally affected (to badly) by heights.. but that was the stuff of nightmares!
I think that has to be one of, if not 'the' one, of the most basic of human primeval fears. The fear of falling..! yikeshurl
Terrifying! I was okay until they went up the jib.

Byford Dolphin I believe, I've worked on that. Not a bad rig.

You lad's are brave trying to get on unauthorised, the authorities would take a very dim view and it's 24hr ops remember so you would be spotted in seconds with no PPE etc! No harm in having a sail around though, just watch out for the anchor chains!

There was a horrific explosive decompression accident that killed 5.

BTW, The Cromarty Firth is where you want to go for a look. Usually quite a few moored there.

I do often wonder what makes people want to graffiti in and on abandoned things, personally think it looks miles better when it's untouched.

Danny, I'm from Leeds, what's the nearest abandoned factory type building around? Looking for an easyish start.

Does anyone know anything about this building?

It's at the end of Kingfisher Way (Off Brooklands Av), Cambridge.

I wouldn't exactly call most of them WW2 !! There is what appears to be a B25, fair enough, but it's not a fighter.
