LOL yes. Also, the F-86 Sabre was Korean War not WW2. But the Telegraph seldom bother doing any research these days. Better to think of it as "abandoned old planes".
Edit: Although if one wanted to be picky, one could read the headline "World War II fighter aircraft rot in abandoned plane graveyard" as meaning "WW2 fighter aircraft are amongst the aircraft that rot in an abandoned plane graveyard"
