we NEED to see those photos!
I know! Annoyingly he's not on PH and I saw them on the screen on the back of his camera...Twincam16 later said:
...they were taken on a "film" camera as opposed to a digital, so when he says "find them" it means turning his flat over as opposed to delving in to his hard drive.
I though all cameras with screens on the back were digital.Jonny671 said:

How come there was a bust up with that urban exporing site and PH - it looks quite cool!
If you mean the one that redirect the links from here.. Its because they said we ruined one of their hide outs or something silly.Asterix said:

Just clarified the name with him - Sutton Bonington. Somewhere between Loughborough and Nottingham.
RAF Newton - looks like someone else got there first with a camera:

Thats quite some walking....takes almost 1/2 an hour by car. Would Wymeswold be possible? Its a sight closer though as its used for car driving possibly less likely. They have started doing some work on Newton in the last year or so to help with widening the A46 though.RAF Newton - looks like someone else got there first with a camera:

I though all cameras with screens on the back were digital. The pictures looked pretty much like the other ones taken at RAF Newton, only in the dark with a flash. The missiles in question were small things (again, I don't know much about missiles but we're not talking cruise missiles here) that had probably been used in training.

I wasn't invovled with 'canalgate' in the slightest, not sure if I was even a member here then, but I got banned for no other reason than 'Pistonheads' and they must have made some effort to realise who I was on there was well.
You can't blame them.Edited by Bernard80 on Sunday 25th July 11:12
They get invaded quite often by forums like Pistonheads who want all of the secrets whilst ignoring the rules and then acting like cocks when they don't get their own way.
Go on there, get involved and act decently and they will be very open and decent with people.
Am sorry did you miss the part where I said I wasn't involved with the argument? I am an avid urbexer and know how to behave on urbexing site. I was banned for being a member of here, I wasn't banned from here for being a member of 28DL, which I was before I was a member here. If you follow that.

They were probably just binning all Pistonhead accounts during the wind-up/invasion that happened.I'd PM Oxygen Thief, he's a good guy and I'm sure will straighten it out.

ETA - I'm pretty sure it was Newton, simply because the more I see on UrbEx websites, the more looks familiar. I especially recognise this sort of thing from his snapshots:
And seeing things like this left behind really freaked him out:
It seems it's been fairly well covered by other UrbExers, must've been terrifying at night, and apparently is now being flattened to make way for a new housing development.
Cock Womble should recognise these pics as I'm pretty sure RAF Newton is where the RAF Police were trained. And seeing things like this left behind really freaked him out:

Thanks for that link, it's very interesting. It's also very depressing as I can remember a lot of those RAF stations still being open when I joined up, and at 42 I'm not exactly ancient.RAF Newton - looks like someone else got there first with a camera:

Wrong i post on here and 28days everyday OT knows and he never banned me
You're post canalgate though aren't youHes saying, he used to be a member on there but due to affiliation with PH was banned.. And assumed as you've only been here 7 months, CanalGate was before then IIRC.
I wish I had pictures to post up but one of the best places to visit for the thread topic is Cockatoo Island Sydney Australia, lots of history lots of old buildings with abandoned machinery and best of all you can camp there (tents and facilities inc barbecue area provided)
We had a fantastic day/ night with my sis and her hubby on there, it was out of season so very quiet on the island.
