Service at Easthampstead Crem next mon week (22nd) followed by reception at Sindlesham. I epect it will be wedged
Cheers - Just been sent the same by Bro Sec. Not sure what the deal will be for the great and the good... is it above my station to try and attend, if possible? I am sure I will be told today, if I make it through the ceremony (and don't waste too much time here first!).

Just had an email asking me to do JD at the next meeting (Wed!) - yikes.

Think it's a third so not too much to do...

Fer,

Glad it all went well, will try and make a regular during your year.
re Mike Hooton, the service is open to all, its just that the Province needs numbers for the reception at Sindlesham afterwards.

Hope to get to the Crem, but am working so may turn up in the bus!!!

It was a real privilege to be there to witness it, and to see someone really appreciate the occasion. Congrats again, catch up soon hopefully.

From reading back, I understand Fer has just gone in the chair. If correct, he is a WBro.

I was under the impression that you only became "WBro" after you have passed through the chair. Certainly on our summons, the WM is shown as Bro. In my lodge, when the newly installed WM presents the outgoing WM with his past masters jewel, he emphasises the "worshipful" bit because he is now, but wasn't before, if you see what I mean!

It may vary from province to province, and of course I am in a Welsh lodge!

Congratulations, Fer on your installation; ours is tonight when I will become ADC.

Having just checked in the Book of Constitutions, I am wrong - past and serving Masters of lodges are entitled to use WBro. I don't know why we are different in my lodge!

Convention says:

WM and PMs are addressed as "WBro Smith".

Officers are addressed as "Bro Secretary", regardless of whether they are PMs or not.

On the summons:

The WM should be referred to as "WBro Smith"

On the list of officers, it is either "WBro AB Smith", or "AB Smith [rank] PM" (and "PZ" if appropriate).

Haven't read all 50 pages but just wondering if anyone on here has got high enough to find out that they actually worship the devil, or if they are in still at the 'being duped' stage?

I suppose we should take the advice from GL and ignore such comments.

There's nothing stopping you worshipping the devil if you so choose.
