I've been asked to join the Freemasons
Discussion
One piece of advice i give to all new initiates.
Visit other lodges to see how their ceremonies differ, BUT bear in mind this, If they do something that is done differently in your Lodge, dont say that they are doing it wrong. They are doing it correctly according to the way they have been taught.
And that is the great joy of visiting in Freemasonry. Seeing the variations each Lodge may,or may not, have. Esp where different Rituals are done.
It is that which makes it worthwhile, and if the day ever came where Grand Lodge decrees that every Lodge should work the same, that will be they day i will stop visiting
oh well back to the book, as i take the chair in October after a gap of 16 years!

Wise words, and good luck for October. (What date?).
