Does anyone remember fluorescent terry towelling socks; they also had to be worn as an odd pair.

What about the T-shirts that changed colour depending on your body temperature; can't remember the name of them though?
Global Hypercolour. My sister had to stop wearing hers when she started puberty...

I had some of those cheap towelling fluoro socks - four pack, blue, green, yellow and pink. Like you said, never worn as a matching pair.

That, combined with those Nike Air Challenge 4s, some naff looking fluoro board shorts with slogans like 'Radical Surf California '76' emblazoned loudly on them, a hooded t-shirt with mustard and lime green quarters and a cheap pair of plastic fake Raybans with a 'step' haircut and curtains made sure that no self respecting 13 year old girl would be seen dead with me biggrin

My usual attire at college in the mid 80's was white moonboots, kharki army surplus trousers and a yellow denim jacket.

I cringe today at the tttish get up!

Anyone admit to owning any of the following:

Reebok Pump
Yep, had a pair of most - including those Adidas ones with the tiny pump ( like a mini football pump ) that inflated the heel, the pump even had a digital pressure read out. To a twelve year old they were the height of cool!

Reebok have re-released some of their pump trainers and I'm finding they are rather tempting my frivolous side - but can't think of a single occasion, other than wearing them around the house, when I'd actually put them on...

I have a picture (which I am not posting) of me circa '92 sporting the most lurid fluorescent colour baggy tshirt, stonewashed baggy jeans, and massive LA Gear pump equivalents with fluorescent multiple laces. I am also sporting massive period glasses and a bum fluff moustache. I fking loved those trainers.

Only for the cool kids. And you had to leave the key ring / name tag attached

I still have this on my keys:

Given to me by my mate when we were 15 (he had a spare one when he bought some shoes), which was almost 20 years ago.

Still best mates to this day, and he has a matching 'other half'.... quite sad really!

^^^^ Awsome, I was never allowed one so I would regularly go round to my mates; Nathan, and play on his with him.

There is something about the older consoles and games they are just so much simpler than the modern games and yet can be a lot more fun.

If you have a PC then get your hands on the game Risk of Rain. Puts plenty of big titles to shame with how fun it is. Especially with two player.

Spent many happy hours stuck by the roadside flicking though this. I suppose the satnav has killed it.
