We also used to make little bombs with match heads, 2 bolts and nut inbetween.

Any moped would struggle to pull the skin off a rice pudding.

But you are right - the freedom was delicious (particularly to meet my girlfriend).

My best mate; who got everything that he wanted, had a blue one, I have fond memories of the two of us blasting up and down the cul de sac where he lived, trying to pull wheelies, no helmets of course!!

Mine was like this (borrowed pic) It went fairly well for 50cc - until one day it didn't , quite suddenly
