Some footballist called Eadie and Simon Norris of Norris Designs fame.

Not really a high class alumni there!

I already knew about Terry Waite going to my school, but having done a bit of Googling, I just found out that Tim Curry went there too.

As a massive Rocky Horror fan I'm rather chuffed about that!

Keith Flint from the prodigy was at my school, in the year above. Fat kid IIRC, and not particulalry popular. I remember him taking a beating once or twice.

Steve Backley, javelin chucker, was a few years above me. Either Gareth Hale or Norman Pace (I can never remember which and Google isn't helping) had been a PE teacher some time before I started. I don't know of any others.

A whole bunch of rugby players, including JPR Williams, Gavin Henson, Robert Howley, Dafydd James, Dr Jack Matthews, Mike Hall and Gareth Williams.

Also Nicole Cooke (Olympic cycling champion), Maria Miller (Coservative MP), Carwyn Jones (current first minister for Wales).

Finally, Lyn "the leap" Davis (Olympic long jump gold medallist) used to teach there.
