Douglas Bader, although was a bit before my time.

Dolphin Taylor, who was the drummer from the Tom Robinson Band was in the year above me. I can remember the headmaster talking about his career and the hit song 2-4-6-8 motorway. No mention of Sing if you're glad to be gay though...

This thread is a little disappointing as all that's being listed are people who were at someones school when they were not even there! Ok, I know it says "from your school" bit what about "went to school with"?

It'd be more interesting if someone famous was actually there at the same time or, heaven forbid, the same year.

I went to a good school (academically) but I'm not aware of anyone who's now famous that was in my year or a year either side. Rubbish. frown

Both the aforementioned of mine were at school the same time as me. I don't really remember Matt Holland but Jamie Oliver was in the year above me and good friends with the brother of one of my mates.
He was actually a decent chap and nothing like the TV persona he puts on now. Oh, and his wife Jules was the subject of much jealousy when he started going out with her.

I was at Marling School at the same time as Tim McInnerny, but he was a senior prefect and I was just a lower-school oik.

oh ok then. I was in the same year as Colin Hill, who played a few games for Arsenal in the late 80's. Scored on his debut I believe, then spent a while in Portugal before I lost track

actually not famous at all...
