Righty then! First First Date in over 7 years soon! so a little unsure but its all fun! so looking for someone to say yes no maybe on the idea.

Suggest meeting at the Tate modern (gauge her response! might hate art!) wander around the Tate chatting and getting to know each other. then wander to the Southwark rooms for a drink and maybe dinner depending on how things go! it looks like a 10 minute walk from the Tate to Southwark rooms, although the weather is looking v iffy at the moment so otherwise not sure!

Another suggestion was just meeting at Royal Exchange but worried might be a bit too much!

Otherwise london zoo but weather wont be good!

Or anything likely to induce bloating like lentils or a curry. And go somewhere with small portions.

You do NOT want to be fighting a fart at any point during the evening. yeshehe

I'm guessing she's a classy kind of gal if your considering a walk around the Tate.
I once suggested to a very early stages girlfriend, a walk around the natural history museum.
It was nice, right up until we walked into the new torture exhibit.

It's BSW bait. He loves cliches.
Also I phoned up ladbrokes and put a bet on for the subject of BSW's next thread. You'll be seeing a lot more of this.

Stop it now! Its too easy - you know there really is a restaurant just 10 minutes walk from there - you know the one - are you going to be the first PH'er to actually take a girl for a meal up there? You know the one - Bisto Tower is it? smile

Serious note - which day are you going - if its a Saturday rule out the Royal Exchange, the City is dead on a Saturday - good during the week though

Tate Modern has a restaurant as well - has as good a view as the .... Tower. Or go the other way to the restaurants around Tower Bridge

Good advice from another thread:

1. Meet her in a Yates' Wine Lodge on a Friday night.
2. Buy her 12 Bacardi Breezers.
3. Take her home, or into an alley, for sex.
4. Take her to the pictures on Saturday night. Finger her during the film.
5. Insist on getting a second bottle of the house white at dinner.
6. Take her home, or into an alley, for sex.
7. Repeat.

No need to thank me.

Tate is a bit too much (and cliched) for first date IMHO.

Like I said earlier, try The Griffin.

Thats just silly, there's nothing to facepalm, what you want is to take her up the oxo tower.

Wasn't this discussed a month ago by someone else who had no imagination and didn't know what to do with a girl? FFS just go and enjoy yourself and stop worrying and if you get a blowjob or quick fumble it is a bonus.

You can't make someone like you with material things anyways, she'll either like your company or not.

Good luck btw wink
