The only real way to break this for good is to start actually acting like her boss. A lot of what you have described is not remotely in that category. However, this will obviously change said relationship - and by again as above, she aint gonna take it well.

The other option is to carry on as you are. To date you've done nothing wrong except fantasise. You don't actually HAVE to step over the line you know. If she really pushes you can explain you really like her but as she well knows you're MARRIED.....

He would of had to take his wife to that sort of event and if he didn't introduce her to the woman he had spoken about, it would have looked even worse.
