Tough tour this one, too.

They had to use own-brand fabric conditioner at one point.

Amazing how someone can use a public forum for a personal conversation and yet it gets to 8 pages of posts. Do you really all know this guy personally?
Wishing someone luck when they are going to where he went is hardly a personal conversation! rolleyes
Where exactly did he go and what does he do? I'm very interested, browsed through the previous posts but can't work it out just know it's military work.
He's a tunnel rat.

I don't mean personal as in sensitive, I mean personal as in nearly everyone who reads it has no idea what any of you are on about. At least you created a thread especially for it though (and I am consciously aware that I am hijacking it by talking about the appropriateness of the usage of public discussion forums for topics like this), it does wind me up when people hijack threads with personal chit-chat. Anyway, good luck in your mysterious trip to a mysterious place for mysterious reasons, mysterious man/woman that I don't know.

I knew exactly what you meant by personal. The reason his whereabouts are not listed are because it was sensitive.

99.9% of the readers of The Lounge will know exactly what the thread is about, and who CVM is (whether they love him or loathe him!).

Most forums yes But this is the Lounge, it's (kinda) allowedish.

My old man has divorced twice and on his 3rd marriage. Has been an expensive lesson (financially and emotionally) which he clearly doesn't learn from! He says it is expensive only because it is worth it! Great chap and gutted I only get to see him once every year. Now I have a child I really miss him for some reason.

Right.

And how does that affect your feelings towards Nick?

er.. he feels that every time the fibreglass wonder departs for a foreign field that it is, to him, like a divorce?

Or something?
