All gone quiet in here. I handed in my dissertation, slept normally for a while too. First of four exams on Thursday and they've launched a poster presentation deadline on us for Friday, so sleep has slipped down the priorities again.

The thread comes and goes, I'm always perusing the site when on nights. Tonight I am writing user guides for some new software we got today so the Luddites in the office can make good use of it.

Being able to dumb-down a subject without diluting the content is fairly tough!

I don't hang around long enough in the land of the awake at the end of a night shift to think about a beer! It's jump in the car, home, quick wash, read then sleep.

My day and night routines are opposites - On a day shift (like everyone else) I get home in the evening and spend a few hours watching TV or any other bits & pieces before going to bed and waking up an hour before I'm due to leave for work again. On a night shift I come home and go straight to sleep, but get up late in the afternoon so I have around 3-4 hours before I'm due to leave for work where I'll watch TV or do any other bits & pieces.

Yeah I'll be here on and off for the duration of my shift, although I have the latest episode of Game of Thrones to watch, and some actual work to do, so it'll be sporadic!
