Evening all wavey

The utter gits at work have removed the last WiFi point so I have no access to the Internet on my laptop. This is a dire situation and has forced an almost unthinkable situation from me. I'm doing some work. frown

Although for all you student moaning about doing coursework I think I might be able to out-bore you tonight, I am going through the BSI and ICO paperwork regarding CCTV work in relation to Static Guarding, cross checking that with the Data Protection Act and then trying to condense all the relevant points into something that can be read and understood by the lowest common denominator any Security Officer in my company. It is exactly as thrilling as it sounds. banghead

The amount of redundant information in these allegedly targeted guides if unbelievable, I have the "Disclosure of Information Managers Quick Guide" it's 45 fking pages long and whoever did it appeared to have cut and paste massive areas without reading them rage and it's only one of 5 sources.

I didn't go into security to think, I did it because I got a free high-vis jacket.

09.30 Exam on signals and systems. The more I read the more I realise I don't know. On top of that I feel rough with a coldy thing.

Currently engrossed in the joys of transfer functions, Root Locus diagrams, laplace and z transforms, fourier series and transforms, and some other ste!

I have the exercise bike in my room, iPad covering the screen so I can't see what I'm doing, though I know I've been going for 80mins, Saw III on the TV in front of me. So. Fecking. Hot. Gaahhhhhh!!!!

I've forgotten what exercise feels like. Last exam is next Wednesday, then got 6 weeks off before starting my placement, and a weekends climbing in Wales that I have 2 weeks to get vaguely in shape for!

Oh and my kind of excerise is walking from office to cafe and back again while lifting a sausage cob.

Thinking about it, I should do more excerise even though I am thin. scratchchin

I'm second year, was warned last year that this one was a long hard slog, they weren't kidding! Ah well, get to choose some modules in my final year at least.

(As proof of how brainfked I am, that sentence took 4 goes to get typo free)

Highlight of my day was plumbing in a water butt into the drainpipe. Its filled 100L in just the 8 hours that i left for work since 3 and didnt think it had hardly even rained. I think i need to buy a few more!

Oh and only reason is because since the hosepipe ban cane in i cant hack washing the car with a watering can i need my jetwash and snowfoam back!

92mins and 42kms/26mi in one go, then some core exercises. I've just finished Uni, trying to find a job, Barcelona for the weekend next Friday followed by 4 days in Staffordshire with the lads, need/want to try and shift as much of this beer belly I've developed in the last year at Uni before then as I can. Will start visiting the gym when I can afford to!

Spent the last few nights staying up to stupid o'clock to finish essays...which I promptly gave up on instead. A nice relaxing night of watching other people procrastinate is in order I feel smile

I have been up all night playing Forza. Probably not the best idea.

Went for a piss and heard this car flying down the road, with what sounded like bits of it dragging against the tarmac. I look out the window to see the driver stop, make 7 attempts to park, open the door, stumble out and fall flat on his arse. He then stumbles about for a couple of minutes, closes the door, and stands there for ages trying to work out how his key fob works. So that's (presumeably) a drink driver who lives a few doors up from me. Huzzah.

Police said they couldn't do anything once he had left the car, which is understandable.. sadly.

This is what happens when I don't go to bed laugh

They can if there is a witness.

(Had one in the other night - all to common now!)

This is the first chance I have had to log in from 2300 last night - busy, busy Friday night, and I fear that tonight will be the same.
