Mysterious unopened safe!
Discussion
I once found a safe that was locked, took me ages to get inside, I cut the hinges off but that didn't allow me to get in as the lock held the door fast, spend ages with a grinder and cold chisel before I finally got inside.
It contained about £200 of long out of print £10 notes, still curiosity was satisfied.

The Bank will change them into legal tender, so you'd still have £200 for your effort It contained about £200 of long out of print £10 notes, still curiosity was satisfied.

If they had been in good condition a bank note collector would have given you over face value for themIt contained about £200 of long out of print £10 notes, still curiosity was satisfied.
To get it open intact you need drills and grinders and chizles and a LOT of back breaking and time consuming work.
What I'd do is first of all drill a hole in the top and then use a boroscope to look inside to see if it was worth the bother of getting the back off it.
There are plenty of instructional books and videos for free downloading on the web. Lockpicking, making locksmiths tools etc. Goggle ‘Eddie the Wire’ PDF
Alternatively you can buy locksmiths tools. In some parts of the world ‘Sport Lockpicking’ has become a competitive hobby where people race each other to open locks.
I would treat it as a challenge, get a set and teach myself. You could even charge other people to have a go, £1 a try, money adds to the prize fund, winner gets half and the other half to charity.
Then when someone gets it open undamaged you strip the lock, make a key to fit (or get a locksmith to do it) then sell the safe with keys. You will probably get more for it with keys than as a locked safe.

Mr Jones, you simply cannot come on here professing to be able to open the safe and refusing to do so.
We are a bunch of red meat eating men. We do stuff like this for fun. We fix stuff, play with gadgets, break stuff, build stuff and do not, under any circumstances, post on here that we are not going to open the safe.
What you should be posting is 'I have come across this safe. What is the cheapest and best way to open it?'
Stop being such an effeminate faggot and get your hands dirty.

Mr Smoke.
You are obviously unaware of the op's history and I find it rather amusing that a poster with a name like yours thinks a person who runs a drifting venue in a less than elf and safety environment lacks the balls to open the safe.
Suggest you bid on it and see if your sense of amusement would let you follow a similar course.
