I'm afraid so.

PH is dead handy for this sort of thing.

I discovered how they get the skins off mandarins in tinned mandarins on here, always wondered how that was done.

Woah there Neddy, you can't just dangle that juicy worm without filling us in on the details.
Agreed! Don't say that and then not tell us, man.

I'd like to know how Scotch Eggs are made?

Or those little posh chocolates that are hard on the outside but liquid chocolate inside?

In brochures for Bicycles and even on come people's own pictures taken at home, the bicycle appears to be stood there, all of its own accord. How do they make them stand up with no visible stand?
Get a friend to hold your bike upright, then just before you take the picture get them to let go.
Then hope you remembered to do it somewhere where there's nothing that will damage the bike on impact.

How do they peel shrimps/prawns. Can't be done by hand can it? With all of the different sizes and shapes and the fact they squash easily - must be a bloody clever machine?

The skin comes off mandarin slices via an enzyme washing process.

I'd guess chocolate liquers are done via some sort of injection process.

Scotch eggs are boiled eggs, wrapped in sausagemeat and then rolled in breadcrumbs and baked, I'd guess.

KFC use pressure fryers to ensure its crisp on the outside and cooked in the middle - discovered that to my peril a little too late.

Tipper goes off-road onto a muddy site and loses traction, gets stuck. Digger or bulldozer or something is used as a rough and ready way to push the truck out, but often bends things in the process, hence 'do not push'. Tow instead I guess.

Why though? Haven't they other things to do rather than drive around after them?

Surely the egg and sausagemeat would then be one, rather than the egg being able to move around inside?

The egg doesn't shrink as its already cooked.

The sausagemeat, bound by the egg/breadcrumb outer shrinks as it cooks away from the egg.

Again, guessing.

The meat shrinks away from the egg as the fat and water cooks out of it.

In the good old days, police and emergencys ervices when stopped on the hard shoulder used to point their front wheels away from the traffic, so if they get hit from behind, the vehicle travelled away from the carriageway

Now, they stop with the whole car facing the carraigeway. Why?
