What is it about your Dad watching porn that freaks you out?

Is it the thought of him gripping his veiny bangstick as hard as possible in an attempt to stop himself from spraying his chunky load all over the computer screen? It must be, can't think what else it could possibly be? Tell us, when you have this image of your Dad wking furiously at the PC, does he ooze or spray?

Reminds me of a friend of mine(girl). The subject of porn came up and she said "Oh, my father and brother don't look at porn. They don't like it".

Ok sweetheart, if it makes you feel better! hehe

Err, have you been drinking or taking drugs?

Can you picture your own father chocking the old One eyed custard chucker?

My dad has completely annihilated his computer whilst navigating on dodgy sites.

'Having a laugh at the Russian/Thai brides'

Each occasion requiring a complete format and reinstall of everything to totally purge it. But he doesn't care and keeps doing it.

Next time I'll tell him he's on his own and to fix it himself. Neither my mum or I care about what he looks at, as he's only doing it for amusement instead of gratification, just we get annoyed when he acts like a tantrumous child that his computer is broken.
haha, your dad sounds like a laugh!

This. If the computer is only used for surfing he won't notice the difference anyway, the browser looks and works the same. Strike a blow against pants OS from Bill Gates and get some Linux in the box.

My mate has a dual-boot Ubuntu/Windoze setup. His stated reason for keeping the Windoze part is that he can't run Turbocad in Linux - which is true. But he is constantly having trouble with the Windoze part breaking - because he doesn't use Ubuntu to look at porn, he uses Windoze, because he thinks that that way I won't know about it. Even when I've been trying to fix his Windoze installation and fired up Explorer and it opened at his well-organised porn library, he says "dunno how that got there" and continues to convince himself that I don't know about it.

This is what my father in law keeps doing. Beggars belief that he doesn't learn from past mistakes, this has been going on for six or seven years now, as the mother in law goes mad when she finds out (not a woman you'd willingly cross), and as they use that PC for online shopping/banking I make sure he has to tell her as I make him get new credit card/bank cards issued. They've had fraudulent use of the bank account, credit cards and even had that one that dials premium phone numbers.

Each time I'd clean up the PC (usually by formatting it), install new AV and anti spyware but a couple of months later it'd come back with all the AV removed or disabled and infested with rubbish again. I refuse to fix the PC now, make him pay to take it down to the local computer shop and get it fixed.

All the heart pumping porn you need without getting a virus, aids or any other sexually transmitted disease.

My son borrowed my laptop once as he wanted to chat to mates on bebo, facebook when i went on it after him, he got a clip round the ear for not delete history and getting caught but he also got a thumps up from some of the quality sites he used.laugh

Get him a USB stick with enough memory to hold a live boot version of linux (ubuntu is fine).

Tell him to turn the computer off, plug this in, then view porn once it's booted up.

Also, create a ghost image of the OS after you format, saves a LOT of time.

I am a frequent visitor to many, ahem, 'health & efficiency' type sites. Having sons of 17 and 25 I believe it is my fatherly duty to stay ahead of the game in terms of what is available on line.

I'd like to think I'll still be surfing them when I'm 65! My dad only looks at Duxford air museam, Plumbcenter and Saga, and gets them wrong!

Google Chrome is my friend.

Can I add that my post was purely about the theoretical greater resiliance of *nix systems to on-line viruses. I'd never ... ahem ... actually go to such a site. wink

It's the way of the world nowadays. It used to be fathers telling their son about the birds and the bees. Now it's sons telling their fathers how to delete their browsing history.

I bought my dad a porn DVD for his 60th. Just thought, what would I want at that age?!
