Why do Russians all look the same?

I work for a Russian company - and they do not all look the same. Ok, all the girls are FIT, but they come in all shapes and sizes (except fat).

There is a massive variety of Russian "looks", no wonder when you look at the size of the place and the countries it shares borders with. Everything from Scandinavian, Slavic, Mongol, Chinese, Korean...etc.

But yes, there is definitely a "potatoey" type.

Maybe thats down to the recruitment company used, or HR having a strict "NO MINGERS" rule? Like the sound of that place. Where do I sign up?

Incidentally - I work for an Indian company. The female staff members are a mix of "OMFG, how incredibly attractive" and "not even with a 20ft remote controlled bargepole from 20 miles away".

Problem with the attractive ones is that they're incredibly focused on their career, and seem to have had their sense of humour removed.

I wasn't going to throw away the minutes it took me to type it. Seriously though, all the one's I've met in real life all have a similar look about them. I'll assume it's down to genetics, and perhaps a purer Russian gene pool? I don't imagine a lot of people have emigrated to Russia over the years, whereas other countries have their gene pool diluted? I think I'm on to something there.

I'll come to your rescue, I can usually spot someone from the former Soviet Union by the way they look. The women especially. Whether that is because of the way they look or they way they dress/act is another matter though.
