Female Perspective (or at least mine) Chav Tat.

That is all.
Female perspective.. What jackets do you like?
Label is irrelvant, something that fits well, tailored nicely, and flatters the wearer regardless of their personal style.

What about this one? Looks quite nice.

I was in the design meeting for that one:

Designer 1: "What does our key chav demographic want to wear these days?"
Designer 2: "Dunno - maybe something that looks like heat shrunk dogst?"

Excellent description. I'd thought it looked rather dog egg-esque but the heat shrunk element is genius.

BTW Is it wrong that I've never heard of Stone Island?
I wouldn't worry about it, neither had I until this thread. And looking at their website I can't say I'm any better off for knowing they exist.
I completely agree on both counts

Personal opinion only:

Stone Island make overpriced chav tat. If you're willing to spend a thousand pounds and want a decent coat, pop down to Savile Row and get one that will actually fit! Failing that, get yourself something technical from a proper outdoor shop or country outfitters that will keep the weather out and save two thirds of your money!
I do all of that, and still buy Stone Island as well though.

As I say it would be boring if we all wore or liked the same thing.

Just to add if I'm honest, I hardly wear my Stone Island stuff now, it's more of a collection I have.

I have to say that it comes as little shock that someone who calls themselves 'The GMan' has a collection of Stone Island's finest garments

No I'm not an Original Gangsta’, I just happen to like a wide and varied selection of clothes.

My name is a nickname for another reason.

Does your nickname mean you frequently change steroids?

Is stone island popular with the Gay Man then?

Looking at your profile picture and the fact you don't like Stone Island, no.

Have a look at Wellensteyn, I wear this in the cold/wet season :

Like a Belstaff but without the wax, and very decent logos.

The Brand originates from Horse Blankets, so no chavy baggage around ?

I have around 4-5 limited edition Stone Island and are excellent quality. Unfortunately some of the lesser end clothes are a bit cheap quality wise.

Also have some new CP Company jackets which are excellent.

I meant to say have a look at some of the new Barbour collabaration jackets which I think are class.

Oh, I picked up a very thick Nike jacket on Freecycle. Plain, light grey with a tiny tick. Needed a bit of a wash, mind, but good as new, now. </tightgit>
