Mildly NSFW but it is apparently 'art' and it's hosted on youtube so it's not that bad.

Also, 2min. 7 secs to open a can. Impressive.

If I wanted to watch someone struggle to open a can of spaghettios and then piss themselves I would go visit my gran.

fking HATE art students!

When I was at college (years ago) they all wore pink denim overalls... tells you all you need to know really. I took the piss out of one lad and he claimed that pink "revealed his inner sensitivity and creativity".

Oh,how I laughed.

I suppose I'm just not clever enough to 'get' the youtube vid posted - either that or it's a load of uninspired st made by someone who's not quite as clever as they'd like to think they are. Use the following phrase love: 'you want fries with that?'.

Get used to it!

I was going to suggest that she could at least use her degree to work in McDonalds but that's slow even by their standards

The reply "I'm a fresher and I'm studying art" is like a symphony of pure music to any male uni student's ears... Or so I hear.

I just don't see any point in doing an art degree. If you're creative why not do something useful like design or something that might actually get you somewhere one day? Perhaps these are the sort of degrees that will die out with the insane rise in fees.

Art Students....

At my old college the arts lot had their studio and wot not in the basement level which was overlooked by the ground and first floor concourse balconies...SOME of my friends took pleasure in accidently dropping things off the balconies.... Also i recall that they had a huge banner suspended from the ceiling...well it was until somebody cut the cables it was hanging off and it gently fell two stories to plunge about 50 arty types into sudden darkness....

I know....disgraceful...

Just read this in the local paper's website.

yesterday at armstice day, around the memorial in Leicester, some art students decide to film an art project...

Veterans were faced with the strange sight of a young woman who was naked but for a Union flag and a poppy as they went to lay tributes at a war memorial yesterday.

The old soldiers had marched to the memorial in Leicester's Town Hall Square after observing a two-minute silence at 11am to find her, tearful and silent, in the place they intended to make their tribute.

She refused to speak as councillors and veterans tried to establish why she was there.

In the end tributes were left around her.

It later emerged she was one of a group of live arts students from De Montfort University recording a project for Armistice Day.
I don't 'get' a lot of 'art' but I actually think this sounds quite cool. Any links to the final recording?

This is strong evidence in favour of my argument for art degrees requiring fees of £22k per year to be paid and engineering to be free....

How the fk is that art?

Jesus fking Christ on a stty wky toss stick.

Some skinny fking freak tossing about with a ing tin of food and making a bloody mess is not fking art.

It is however tossing about and taking the fking piss.

That was a room where a suicide bomber would not be bd well wasted.

She didn't even have decent fking tits.
10/10 for the rant as my laughing has just woken up swmbo good and well justified use of swearing hehe

Drama students are just as bad.

Some of the drama lot on our PGCE were telling us how for one their "performance pieces" last year they all dressed up in either clown outfits or mime outfits and went into the nearest Tescos and Sainsburys and started building sculptures out of the produce on the shelf without saying at word and then without tidying up walked out.

That's just vandlism or something isn't it?

Find an empty space where your audience can see you perform, perform a piece and you have a drama - God I'm glad I don't have to reference outside of academia hehe

They should have tidied up however.
