The borders of Norway, Finland and Sweden all meet at a single point so you'd be able to run around in a circle between all three countries if you so wished.

Except that the point is in a lake. So you cant.

So they built a cairn with pontoons, so you can. laugh

Catherine Leroy
Photo-journalist, which in itself is unremarkable.
What sets her apart is she was the first journalist to conduct a live combat parachute jump.

Been mentioned a few times already on this thread, but super interesting - there are some really good videos on youtube about it.

Edited to add the reason I returned to this thread...(but not quite as interesting as above)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chögyam_Trungpa

Chögyam Trungpa. By all accounts a wise and enlightened Buddhist master and guru to Allan Ginsberg.

He favored some contentious methods which caused hippies much moral confusion in the 60's. A heavy drinker, womanizer and by some accounts a massive coke head.

Head down to the controversies section for the gold.

Almost certainly posted before, but given its particular relevance are the moment I think a dupe is justified.

Letters written by the PM to the commanding officer of each trident sub, telling them what to do if the UK govt has been wiped out. I'd imagine Mrs May will be writing one soon.
