David and goliath theme

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emu_War

'The machine-gunners' dreams of point blank fire into serried masses of Emus were soon dissipated. The Emu command had evidently ordered guerrilla tactics, and its unwieldy army soon split up into innumerable small units that made use of the military equipment uneconomic. A crestfallen field force therefore withdrew from the combat area after about a month.[11]'

'he is reported as having killed 505 men, the highest recorded number of confirmed sniper kills in any major war'

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennium_Challenge...

Millennium Challenge 2002 (MC02) was a major war game exercise conducted by the United States Armed Forces in mid-2002. The exercise, which ran from July 24 to August 15 and cost $250 million, involved both live exercises and computer simulations.

Unfortunately for mr Raffay she would go on to become the oldest person in the entire world, outlive him and make twice the homes actual value from the deal in the process hehe

He was very gracious about it, as I recall.

We should consider a similar structure here, in my view.

Didn't she outlive him so his heirs continued to pay after he died?

I think I've read something about it before

I suppose once your late dad has paid enough to buy the place outright twice, and the old dear is 122, you might as well keep paying!

"Vihlen's second boat was Father's Day. It was originally 5 feet 6 inches (1.68 m) long, but after a failed crossing attempt (and competition from a smaller boat) he cut 2 inches off, making it 5 feet 4 inches."

Because that's what you do when crossing the Atlantic.

"you know what, this 5'6" boat is just a bit toooo big..."

Genius and eccentric all wrapped in to one.
