It really is incomprehensible that someone could be capable of that.

To put it into perspective, the video left me feeling odd for days (what little I could watch), so imagine actually carrying out such an act...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Turpin

One of the articles I've written. Interesting I think in that it most people might presume Dick Turpin was a loveable rogue, when in reality he was a murdering chav thug.

It will be Wikipedia's featured article on the 18th.

That ukraininan thing, if you look it up on wikipedia, the whole story is as bad as that video. What they did to people for no apparent reason is just beyond me.

That's weird. On the face of it, looks like a soviet cover-up.

The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs is the media epithet for the killers responsible for a string of brutal murders in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine in June and July 2007. The case gained additional notoriety because the killers made video recordings of some of the murders, with one of the videos leaking to the Internet.

And yes the video is quite easy to find, and no you do not want to see it.
I've just googled that video. I lasted 20 seconds before clicking off it. What horrible bds.
I managed to watch the whole thing. Nasty little sts

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principality_of_Seala...

"The Principality of Sealand is an unrecognized micronation, located on HM Fort Roughs, a former World War II Maunsell Sea Fort in the North Sea 10 km (six miles) off the coast of Suffolk, England (51°53'40"N, 1°28'57"E).

Since 1967, the facility has been occupied by the former British Major Paddy Roy Bates; his associates and family claim that it is an independent sovereign state. External commentators generally classify Sealand as a micronation rather than an unrecognised state.[3] While it has been described as the world's smallest nation"

Sounds more like an avalanche in the middle of the night to me. Everybody panics and runs out into the dark, some die of hypothermia but others stumble around and fall into a ravine, etc.

Really interesting read, thanks. I travelled down through Wyoming, Parleys Canyon, and across the Salt Lake Valley, into Nevada, only the other month.

I know quite a bit about the Mormon pioneers, but wasn't aware of the Donners!

This is great also - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donner_Party_timeline

Thats very weird! Some people really do deserve just to be killed rather than put in prison don't they.

Animals like eating tongues? May be part of the reason.

"Lake Nyos suddenly emitted a large cloud of CO2, which suffocated 1,700 people and 3,500 livestock in nearby villages. Though not completely unprecedented, it was the first known large-scale asphyxiation caused by a natural event."

^^Insane read, the place itself just looks like trouble :creeps
