As we're on the subject of badass soldiers, this guy deserves a mention.

Nicknamed 'White death'.
Credited with over 700 Kills in less than 100 days.
Most of then were sniper kills, but with iron sight.
Had his face blown off and still survived.
His second picture is quite eerie, when they say confirmed kills - I am assuming he collected tags, is that how they are justified?

I'm not really sure. He primarily shot from the tree lines at long range, so I don't think it's likely he'd go and collect tags.
Most likely it's his word and reports from the russians.
Makes me almost want to go play C.O.D world at war and camp somewhere with a Mosin Nagant.

You got anymore soldier topics?

Bump me up!

In keeping with the London 2012 Olympics, I came across this one which was a great read!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Moussambani

"Eric Moussambani Malonga (born May 31, 1978) is a swimmer from Equatorial Guinea. Nicknamed "Eric the Eel" by the media after the name first appeared in an article by Craig Lord in The Times newspaper in London, Moussambani won brief international fame at the 2000 Summer Olympics when he swam his heat of the 100 m freestyle in 1:52.72"
