Multi-blade razors

Ah, seems likely. Feathers are around £25/100 or 25p each Amazon.
Note that they takes ages to arrive - I ordered some a week back, and they're arriving on/around 4th June.Still, takes me a year or more to get through 100 blades, so not really a huge problem. Except that I forgot that I was on my last packet, so I'm now having to make do with some Merkur blades, which I don't find to be anywhere near as good. Still, First World problems and all that..........

Hi all
I've been a convert to DE shaving for the past three-ish years thanks to this thread but I'm becoming increasing frustrated with my current brush.
I generally only shave a couple of times a week and the Taylor's brush I use doesn't really seem to agitate the stubble/beard. It does lather the soap up really well but just feels a bit soft on the face.
I'm willing to splash out on the right brush but could I ask people's advice on how to choose the right brush rather than buying 2-3 before getting one that suit.
Cheers

Something like an Omega boar would be more scrubby than most badgers or synthetics.I've been a convert to DE shaving for the past three-ish years thanks to this thread but I'm becoming increasing frustrated with my current brush.

It will be a bit harsh the first dozen or so uses, but then will just be pleasantly scritchy once worn in. Only £10 too, so not the end of the world if you find it's not for you.

I thought that this shaving hobby was confined to a very few....and to my astonishment, ( I am one of those multiblade cretins), there seems to be a worldwide movement......

Is there a difference between the yellow and red pack? My previous Feather blades were in a yellow pack... one of the reviews says avoid the red ones?I didn't notice that - as you say, I've had yellow pack before, not red.
Guess the Amazon stock has gone cannot find the DE89 at that price.
