Thanks PH for all your help, vinegar didn’t seem to do a lot, but the shake and vac seems to have helped, I am probably being paranoid, so I hope the smell and the st has gone now.

Woke up this morning at 4am high as a kite, it must have been some evil stuff he was smoking, but how to negate the come down? Is it just headache pills?

Also thanks, as I now have the confidence to say to the other one to stop and to be honest if he leaves early it will be far better for me in the long run.

Edited to say: you learn something new everyday! Drugs are bad!!!!

Are you really claiming that the leftover smell of cannabis in your ex-lodgers room is making you "high as a kite"??? laugh

You could always try using amyl nitrate. Just place an open bottle on the windowsill and leave for a few hours, should neutralise any leftover smells.

Err, I'm sorry but just no. It doesn't work like that. You can not get high from being in a room where weed was once smoked leaving just a lingering smell.
You should probably cut down on the amount of cleaning product fumes your ingesting, That sts not good for you.
Also, There's no 'comedown' from weed. You don't get a hangover like you do with say, Alcohol or Inhaling too many noxious fumes from various cleaning products.

Pretty much this, you can't get 'high' from left over smells of cannabis.

Go out for a nice walk and get some fresh air, this comedown you are experiencing will be nothing more than inhaling fumes.

I suspect you are suffering from hysteria. Fortunately for you, the treatment for it is a highly agreeable one. biggrin

Define "coming down".

As has been mentioned, you don't "come down" from being stoned(let alone getting stoned in the first place off the smell of left over unburned cannabis), so either someone has slipped you a mickey(not cannabis) or you have convinced yourself that you are coming down.

Considering cannabis is a "downer" you are more than likely coming up.

I can't seem to find this on the web anywhere, where do you get it from and can it work in a couple of hours?
Look for air-con cleaners for cars.

I have the shakes, my Pupils are dilated, my head is totally fuzzy, but the two walks are helping. I also think I am just panicking now, and should just get on with it.

Probably all of the aerosols that you have used in trying to eradicate the smells.

Use the old painting trick, cut about 4 onions in half & leave them in the room for a day, the onions will absorb nearly any smell, and ironically not leave any themselves.

You will need to have the carpets professionally cleaned really to get that type of smell out.

All the products you have mentioned will only neutralise the smell or cover it up.

Check the www.ncca.co.uk register for your local carpet cleaner, they usually do mattresses and curtains too.

Any fabric in that room will be holding on to the smell, so you will probably need it all doing.
