Including new year, about £8k.
There goes a chunk of my new car fund.
Going away, or is that just on gifts? There goes a chunk of my new car fund.
Would rather not, but ho hum.
I'm having to stay in a hotel, which is bloody expensive at this time of year - plus private nursing agency which is really very expensive INDEED - but partly covered by my care funding. Probably about £700 all told with my dad helping out with around half. Can't afford it really but also can't afford the fallout from not going...

about £1000, half of that is for "gifts" to myself because you should give yourself a treat too
There is as much pleasure in giving as there is in receiving.Especially when you are doing both on your own.

Jesus, how big? This year £51 on presents!
My side of the family do secret santa so I only had to buy one present there... £10 on a fake tree (we have a one year old so no real tree for us this year).
The rest was spent on buying little gifts for my wife from my son and I.
However in the New Year we're planning on finishing our bedroom - new carpet, bed so the plan is to spend our "Christmas" money on that.
