I'm pleased to announce that the white jeans of PH fame have been banished, and shall only occasionally reappear as part of an 80s themed fancy dress costume.

It's out with the cowboy, and in with the sophisticated countryside gent. I call it the "Goodwood look" after some similar attire seen sported at the revival - not to mention a lot of the members of the University clay shooting club I used to belong to.

^For me, too 'try hard'. Sorry. frown

I just get the impression you are wearing things to try and convey a certain image but ultimately it just looks a little uncomfortable. If it floats your boat, more power to you. However, as an objective observer, for me it doesn't work.

Out of interest, where would you wear this particular ensemble?

PS This is coming from someone who wears burgundy cords, (blue) tweed jacket and pocket squares to work so no stranger to 'trad style'.
