Whats the most pointless thing you've done today?

Went into work and said "I'm too ill to come in today", then went home. I didn't really think about it until I was driving home.

Work at one of the larger O&G companies, not the one that you would find items of at the beach but the 'other' one.

Looking forward to a short day hopefully though.

Looks like I'm in the crowd of people having a quite day too. I'm in the obvious Norwegian O&G company, it's also dead here - in a building of several thousand I have seen around 10 people so far.

I just googled "O&G", in bed, as I had no idea what you two were withering on about.

Totally agree with you, that is also why I am at work as well! I know that work will be quiet so I can just chip awa yat some jobs and hopefully go home early while other people are using their holidays up!

Also dead here. I have annual leave still to take, 3 days of it that expires on the "use it or lose it" rationale. I've been here yesterday, today and tomorrow instead. Yesterday was busy enough and tomorrow has a few things lined up.

Couldn't take my leave as it'd leave one person in the building which H&S bks won't allow because we have stairs. Apparently - although that same fact means we don; topen Sundays or Bank Holidays so on balance I'll just sit here surfing the web, just as I would be after what will have otherwise been day six of ten days in a row at home.

I have been known to have 3 slices of toast in situations where 2 is too few and 4 would be too fat.
