I don't get a lot of the geek joke, but that one appealed to me, probably because I can relate.

Two chemists walk into a bar.

The first one says, "I'll have some H2O."
The second says, "I'll have some water too. But why'd you order it like that? We aren't at work."

The first chemist excuses himself and weeps in the bathroom. His assassination plot had failed.

In Dilbert the TTP in "the TTP project" stands for "the TTP project"

It makes my head spin
It's so meta, even this acronym...

smile Saw a real Cray at the Computer History Museum. Awesome. Still the most known "brand" in supercomputing.

So sad the man passed away untimely early.

It seems I'm nearly 3 months overdue for my knicker wrench then.

yes I have been reading "The Supermen". Fantastic reading. Missed out going to the museum due to lack of time but I agree he passed way too early.

One of the few people I would love to have met.

Interesting the X-MP ( I assume that is the one in the pic?) does about 200 Mflops.

For comparison a Galaxy S2 can hit 980 Mflops.. biggrin

I just ran the app mentioned in that link on my £140 Ulefone Power, for 4 threads it came up with 2357 MFlops. Not sure what it means, but interesting. (I think.)
