This is so true.

I think the Perseid maxima has been clouded out for 6 of the past 7 years in my area.

The 1999 solar eclipse was too (luckily, knowing the British weather, we decided to head to Germany and got to see it)

I think they're asian elephants in case anyone wondered, I'm not sure if they're easier to compress into a tank but africans weigh a bit more on average than the weights given.
