A little about the venue: http://www.mechanicsofstyle.com/gp-letter-from-lon...
I love the idea of cigars more than the reality and I think secretly everyone does.
I have spent relatively large amounts of money on cases of Cuban cigars more than once and always made sure I had a couple on me for all occasions.
Having tried various brands of expensive cigars, after many years I have drawn the conclusion that all cigars actually taste st.
Expensive, cheap, whatever - it's just like inhaling a through an actual crap and leaves your mouth tasting like you've had dinner with bear grylls.
We all love a cigar and yet we all hate them. It is a pretentious manly ritual with no real point and yet we cannot get enough of it. And I do include myself in the "we".

Either way any more takers for this? The last cigar night was a very enjoyable night out and meeting some internet strangers was not as odd as I thought it might be......

I see nothing bad about that aspiration.

If it was a Friday evening, I'd be all over it. Sadly by the time I've got up to London, I'd need to go back again.Either way any more takers for this? The last cigar night was a very enjoyable night out and meeting some internet strangers was not as odd as I thought it might be......
The shame of living at the end of a branch line.
