Yes, but they are still fashionable and not from the 1980's....

I've bought a full 3 piece suit of Raja fashions and several of their shirts and ties... 5 years ago and the suit no longer fits (I moved to USA and became a fattie) but the shirts are still holding up well.

I paid 400 quid with 3 fittings and I'd happily buy again once my weight loss goal is reached (lose 40lbs).

The quality is very good for the price and they have a variety of budgets to accomodate everyone.

Good luck with the suit hunting and wedding !

UPDATE: Dress 2 Kill

So I went for the first fitting yesterday after the suits came in and I am pretty impressed! The suits came out very well for the three of us and are not far off being perfect anyway. Being fussy however I have had it nipped and tucked here and there as have we all. They all match up perfectly to.

Mostly the alterations are just bringing it in to be more fitted. The same tailor was there and made some notes, made sure we were all perfectly happy with how they looked etc. They came finished rather than loosely stitched, so we will see if there are any issues in the alterations but looks good so far.

The finish seems very good, the fabric was one of the cheaper options but certainly does not look it, all the details are nice and the experience of the fitting was pleasent.

Ordered fitted white shirts whilst there so will update in another 4 weeks when everything should be done almost...

Only slight downer is that one suit took slightly longer so was about 10 weeks rather than 8... no biggie

Yeah sure!

Short Story: Very Happy with Dress 2 Kill! Would I buy again? Yeah why not, but I might haggle a bit more!

Longer Version!

So I got a call about 3 weeks after first fitting to say they had been adjusted, so I organised a date and headed over with best man and Dad. The fit was perfect now in my mind and I think we all agreed on this. They were matched between the three suits and I was happy to have a grey that was not too dark and not too light, decent material, not sure an everyday material but nice for occasional use. All details as specified.

We ordered bespoke shirts at the same time. They were ok, but to be honest not worth it. They were only £60 but I could have got an equally fitted shirt from Lewins for 4 for £100. In fact I got another white shirt just as nice for a spare for the wedding which was just as nice and fitted as well which was £25 from Lewins on that deal.

The suits were ready about 2 weeks after that and I picked up all three. I think they looked great on the day. They were I think £650-ish each in the end with all the bits, wroking cuffs obv, nice lining, ticket pockets, initials inside etc. I am sure I could have negotiated £600 but before I could haggle my helpful father slapped his card on the counter for his...so we were committed [sigh]

Any way Pics...excuse the ugly mugs! I did manage to get my old man's car in so slightly PH still!

After reading this thread and then doing nothing about it for ages, I went to Luke's Bespoke Tailors a few weeks ago and ordered two suits. After 3 fittings I picked them up yesterday and I must say they're fantastic! Can't recommend them more highly. It's a bit of a trek for me (near beaconsfield) so I requested 10am fittings on Saturdays and at that time it's easy to park on Jutland road next door.

But why would you be dumb enough to pay £155 for a pair of Ralph Chinos from John Lewis?
Every tk maxx in the country has a massive selection of Ralph Lauren chinos for £30-40.
