Glocks have a trigger safety.The only 'active safety' is the trigger safety - otherwise it's ready to fire as soon as you chamber a round. Obviously, she carried it with a locking holster - not really practical for CCW.
I use a Tagua tactical inside waistband polymer holster which affords excellent trigger coverage - not that I carry it much - it's a little too bulky.
