Why has the thread title changed to include an incorrect use of the word "pawn"?

I think the OP mistyped porn as pron. Correction should be porn.

Carry on...
Pron is one of those internet thingies as in Leet speak.

Or 1337 if you prefer.

Load of old @55 if you ask me biggrin

This is my Remmington 870 Police Tac - similarly purchased dirt-cheap from my daughter's agency when they upgraded their long-guns.

Thank you, I was ignorant of that.

Pawn is still the wrong word in this context. So...Boo.

Only just found this thread, having a slow read through and enjoying some of the pics.

Long time since I've handled some of these weapons, but I started shooting here in the UK when I was 8, smallbore at 10 and fullbore at 12.

Held a RFD in the 80's before section 1s became section 5s so some of this is a great walk down memory lane.

The Taurus Curve is a new and innovative design. I'm not sure how long Taurus have been manufacturing in the USA instead of Brazil, but I am sure many welcome this. 380 acp 6+1, the grip is too small for my hand but it would be a good concealed carry pistol for a significant other.

One suspects that work filters are now picking up on 'Pr0n', hence pawn as being a little more friendly to those folks on work t'internet.

That'd be good on a bug hunt.

Some nice pieces there. How come you were allowed an M4 in the Army? I was only allowed the M16. Was told the M4 was for short people lol.
My first 9mm was a KelTec. I will add a photo of it later as I literally have to take a photo of the photo. Was a nice small gun mostly used for concealed carry but in the end I got rid off it due to the recoil always skinning my thumb. Came out of the range many times with a bleeding hand. Glock 22 was my number 1 choice. Had that one in .40Cal.

Looks awesome, any pics of the rear sight post?
Here you go...

I also have this nasty little derringer. It's a .25 cal Armi Tanfoglio Giuseppe - tiny little pocket gun, but deadly nonetheless.

Finally to round things off, this is the duty back-up I bought my daughter for just in case st gets really real - Ruger SP101 .357 magnum

She's since modified it quite a lot (barrel porting and trigger tuning mainly) but it's a beast of a gun.

Is this it? It looks like it has a lot of recoil, is it lightweight?

This one...

Yes, it's got some recoil, she's firing torpedoes out of that thing.

27oz unloaded.

Not sure what was the officers pistol but according to movies they definitely carried the p38 smile

Als obviously the PPK I believe was a sought after pistol with the officers and when they captured wherever the browning factory was they actually issued BHPs/ p35

I don't believe there was a standard side arm. Officers supplied their own in either 9mm or 7.65mm.
