It makes less sense when you consider the Jedi were at war with the Sith. Luke Skywalker had no problems blowing up the Death Star 1 and 2 despite the tens of thousands of construction workers on board!

I'd like to see the Wickes store that Darth went to for the Death Star

I wonder how much a Death Star plasterer would charge per day......

It doesn't make sense- they weren't at war. It was a film.
Nothing more.

with so many people putting either jedi or no religion, im sure that the census takers will find their lack of faith.......disturbing.

Sod that, I'll be munching chocolate! (Isn't it funny how these 'holidays' fall on the very same pagan holidays as well... You'd think it was some sort of tool to bring them over to the 'dark side of the force' as they get to keep their traditional celebrations)

So what makes a religion?

2000+ years ago some bloke gets noticed, people write about him we get a religion from it.

1300 years ago same idea, another religion.

20 years ago David Icke no religion, but similar principles.

Why are some mythological beings considered as religions but other ones we are mad if we believe in.

God/Allah = religion
spacemen/midi-chlorians = barking mad

I sent a text to my father reminding him to put me down as a Jedi, I got one back telling me he'd already done so.

don't you love it when your parents get it right...

Dudeist.

Ordained, too.

"Come join the slowest-growing religion in the world – Dudeism. An ancient philosophy that preaches non-preachiness, practices as little as possible, and above all, uh…lost my train of thought there. Anyway, if you’d like to find peace on earth and goodwill, man, we’ll help you get started. Right after a little nap."

After reading previous census posts on here, I put myself down as a 'Piston Head' for religion.

My housemate was not amused and said I should take it seriously, I told him I was...

...He'll never find out that I put him down as a Muslim, even though he's the least Muslim person on the planet rofl
