Doesn't look much, but it's in the little white building at the top of (and is in control of) one of these...

I always think chaps in those contraptions spend their days looking out to sea, sighing & wishing they were sailing the high oceans, having adventures. Simultaneously, I imagine chaps on the ships look on at the cranes wistfully & wish they were doing that job, going home every night to the wife & kids, a pint in the pub & a warm bed. smile

if you worked all alone, in a windowless white box 50 metres off the ground, you'd need a couple of spare underwear draws in your desk too.

Do you have a toilet in the building?

I've always wondered what operators of large cranes do when they need the loo (especially a number two).

This would probably get a better reception over in the pedal powered forum, but this is my 'office', and the sort of thing I can usually be found working with:

Cool.

May be a silly question, but are you a bike mechanic (because that looks like an office, not a workshop)? If so, how did you get into it and where do you work at the mo? smile

You would have expected something better in an £8,000,000 crane wouldn't you?

Still, it's only holding up the PLC monitor in the E-house.

The cab is a bit more plush...

The view is pretty good too...

And as for the toilet question, there isn't one! You go before you go up smile

My humble desk in a ground floor temp office, I inhabit the ground floor.

however the outside is a tad bit better, one of the perks of working in London.

Do you have to use the ruler to align all of the things on your desk?

Does this bother you?

By the way, your specs are wonky.
