I just found that this workout had magically appeared on my computer... Gave it a try, I'm 6'4 and about 18 stone and the fit test you do at the start nearly killed me. Might give it a go for the next two weeks and see how it goes, but to be honest it was a lot of hassle.

Being tall means that on any of the jumps, star jumps, stretches etc my hands smack against the ceiling, this is really distracting. I had to move all the furniture around in my lounge to be able to have enough room to do anything and then you have to shut the fking curtains so your postman doesn't think your a complete mong as he walks up the drive.

I have no doubt if I did it 6 times a week for the next 60 days I would lose lots of weight and get much fitter, but I will also lose both my hands and ruin the carpets.

The problem I have with these things are nobody I've ever seen ever keeps to them.

I'm now of the opinion unless the person is exceptionally motivated, the OP should either join a activity group of some kind or go to the gym.

Inevitably the person always starts with the right intentions but not fails to keep it up once the novelty wears off.

I think there's value in training away from the home as you can logically separate home life from exercise time!

But that's just my 2p worth.
Agreed. That said, I met someone who has completed the P90X and it really shows. I mean, I would. Ahem. But as you suggest, she is really committed and is big into the whole healthy lifestyle thing.
