Yeah, it's a bit confusing hey BMW.
Yes, but make sure to check the ingredients as most well known & supermarket brands have lots of crap in. Cheapest good ones I have found is Sainsburys Organic or stock up on Whole Earth when on offer.GBDG said:
Just a note, avoid "light" peanut butter. All the good stuff in peanuts are in the oil.
SO full fat from now on!LordGrover said:
You'll grow. A lot.
I'll let you know how I get on in a months time, with a start weight and load, see how much weight and strength I gain.I was reading about the GOMAD (gallon of milk a day) diet however that much milk and 3 proper meals a day will take some getting down so I'll try keep it at 5 pints a day.
I do an hours bootcamp 3 days a week, did it for 6 months with no noticeable change. Altered diet strictly for 2 months whilst training & weight dropped off. Feel much better for it, have relaxed diet now & weight seems steady. Simply cut the crap out for that time & stuck to healthy lunch & dinner, no snacks.

Out of interest, what was your calorific intake prior to being strict and when you were strict?TX.
Tbh Hoofy I've never kept track (which is probably my problem) so do / did just eat what I want. I used to snack on bad stuff (crisps, biscuits etc) so just cut all that out for 2 months, literally just had chicken for lunch and chicken/meat for tea with some salad or veggies (not a brekie person so nowt to cut out there). Swapped sugary drinks for water. Deleted sugar from my coffee and tea. Significant shift in my diet truth be told. Did this back in Sept/Oct 2011 so have been back to almost normal for about 6 months ... I now eat much healthier though, lesson learnt I guess.
Forgot to mention that as well as bootcamp I also now do 10k x-country runs etc.
I don't weigh myself so can't comment on actual weight loss albeit dropped from XL to L in clothes + a lot of medium stuff fits me now too. I could probably get down to a medium proper if I put my mind to it. I do feel so much better for it.

My constitution wasn't up to it for more than two weeks but there are some well documented claims for it. Best of luck.

Little update on my caveman diet. Still going well, I have dropped a couple of kg's and can see a bit more definition. One big downside of low carbs is I lost strength. However I had a wrap for lunch a couple of days ago and trained in the evening. I thought I would give a heavier weight a go and was able to lift with no issues - almost the same amount I was on before this diet.
Hopefully this is the best of both worlds.

Glad you posted that. I love a my coffee. Yesterday when i went shopping i got some whitener stuff thinking it would be better than milk. Seems i was wrong Ive learnt loads about what to / or not eat etc since i started working out but still so much more to learn. Some things you think will be good turn out to be bad and visa versa lol
