On a side note, I'm now in a shirt and trousers I haven't ever been able to wear as they were always a bit tight around the man area. And my stomache no longer does that annoying thing where it flips my belt over when I'm sitting down. I've also started running/jogging on the treadmill, I can manage 2 mins walking 3 mins running for 25 minutes. And that is why you don't need scales. Well done on the loss!

As some incentive I went out and bought myself a pair of size 40 jeans, I can squeeze into them, but I'm aiming to fit them comfortably in 4-5 weeks. Good work! Don't worry about the scales, the other changes you have noticed are much more important than your weight.

Saw some chaps doing sit ups in the gym, on a bench.. That you can angle backwards so it's not horizontal, and then on a step up box too.. Pretty big angle. Thought I'd give it a go and thought I wouldn't even be able to do 1. Managed to do 20, that was 2 days ago.. Stomach muscles are still killing me! And am definitely getting fitter, can bash out 5 miles cycling now without a problem. When I started I'd be dead by 2 miles. Currently doing 5 miles cycling to start, 2k rowing, 1 mile (Maybe KM, not sure actually!) cross trainer, 1-2k rowing and then 5 miles cycling again. Add in a few weights every other session.

The effects don't seem to be as intense now, although I do sweat from my arm pits relentlessly for about 4 hours after taking. That sort of cold sweat if anyone knows the feeling. If I sit with my arms away from my body it's not as bad and I can just about avoid ringos!
I'm now 14st 1lb; 18lbs lost in 5 weeks. I still have a bit of fat at the bottom of my stomach I'd like to get rid of. Overall I'm very happy though. I also haven't done any cardio apart from playing football for 40 minutes once a week. Question time So apart from sweating like a good en are you having any other bad side affects ? Ive just looked at the link someone put on and it says if you have high blood pressure dont take them. Is this possible it could have long term affects on your health ?

High blood pressure is called hypertension.Risk factors of hypertension are stroke, aneurysm, heart attack, heart failure and kidney disease. If something says on the tin it may raise BP and your BP is anything other than 120 (systole) over 80 (diastole) take notice. If your BP is over 140 over 80 get a GP to check you out.As weightloss supplements work by increasing your metabolism by raising heartrate, and HR is proportionate to BP,these 'supplements' should be avoided unless you're 100% fit.

Ive just looked at the link someone put on and it says if you have high blood pressure dont take them. Is this possible it could have long term affects on your health ? Q1: Nope. The first few days I didn't feel great after using them, it is a hard feeling to describe. Today I'm still sweating, but it's definitely getting better. I don't feel tired at all when I've taken them, but normally about 3pm I normally start yawning. Not quite a comedown, but the effects can no longer be felt. - I should also add that I do sweat quite easily, so it may not be as bad for others. Q2: I've done some research on each component of the stack, and they seem fine if taken in moderation. I bought 50 caps, I doubt I'll use them all in one go though.

Sorry, I didn't answer that very well. On day 6, i.e. today, there are no side effects bar the sweating. In the first few days there were, but they got progressively more acute every day. Day 1 was quite harsh, lots of sweating and shaking.
Hopefully I've answered properly this time!

What's the consensus on training abs every day?
Read some stuff that say it's like any other muscle and training without a days rest is a big no no. Then read other stuff that says the abs are unlike other muscles in that they can be worked everyday

I've found it difficult to justify time training abs specifically anyway. Abdominals get worked in pretty much every compound exercise. We're all different though - try it. If it works for you keep it up. If it proves too much, cut back. If you're after a six-pack though, look to the kitchen.

My body fat percentage is really low and i've got quite visible abs as it is but just looking to do that bit extra to get them a bit more defined. Seen a few videos by a chap on youtube AthleneX and seems to know what he is talking about...but don't they all
