Wouldn't use normal superglue. The medical grade stuff does not have the rat poison in it.
My dentist told me this years ago when I used it to glue a crown (tooth) back in.
I would have just opted for the sellotape.
Well its too late telling me that now! rofl
I wouldn't worry I always use the standard locktite stuff when I injure myself, not dead yet smash

Well they say clean cuts take longer to heal/close than raggy edged ones.
Times I have cut myself, work in a kitchen, the local hospital would either stitch
or use butterfly tapes, Never been glued, then cover with tubigrip.

I tend to cut myself just after I sharpen the knife and it is always the 10" cooks knife. Never a small cut.

After being stabbed in the head with a half-snapped brake lever, the A&E staff sealed the wound using superglue. Worked well enough for a few days until the glue fell out during a hot shower - topped it up with some Loctite and it healed up fine.

Ive had cuts glued and stitched in the past which made me think of using glue. Never had my head glued but had it stapled a few times.

"deep cut"

ho ho ho.

superglue was a decent call, couldn't vouch for it's grade though, but if it's worked......

I held someone's actively beating heart in my hand a while back, the human body is a wonderful thing. You'll heal nicely I'm sure, just keep it clean and dry.

I always prefered electrical tape BITD, you could get it tighter to help slow the bleeding smile

Right! Ive taken the dressing off and its all looking nice and neat, holding together well. It did sting and itch a bit but put a little vaseline on and its felling better. Good stuff is super glue!

Well about as deep as you can get on the end of your finger! Any deeper and I think it would have to be re-clasified from 'cut'. I do heal quite well usually, Im quite clumsy so had lots of healing practice!

Wound glue was invented for the Crimean war and then superglue was produced from this. Superglue is toxic to wounds and can cause some nasty wound infections.

The problem with using glue on hands/fingers is that the glue dissolves when it gets wet. All Vaseline will do is help dissolve the glue.
