10p and I have a girl's name sorted but nothing but a vague shortlist for a boy.

We are waiting until the day to find out so we need both ready.

24 week check up today, heartbeat between 150 and 160 and measuring right on track so all us good with us - apart from the blighted kicking me at 1am when I'm trying to sleep!

Mrs is now 'showing' properly, aches and pains are also being mentioned a lot!

So folks, a question; how late are people happy for their partners to work?Mines is keen to work untill two months before due date as she wants to leave as much maternity time as possible for when the baby is born... Not really sure what is normal in this regard.

Mine is intending to work until the end of November giving her a month off before he arrives. I have suggested she goes part time during November, but we shall see...

Kudos

1st time round mine worked until 2 weeks before.

All depends on how they feel and how stressful their jobs are. She'll know when to stop

My back is starting to hurt a bit, but it's insomnia that's getting me at the moment - great fun... You boys really do get the easy end of the stick

The OH is up at all hours as well, bless her, often find her pitched up in the spare room. Shes certainly finding the sleep disruption to be exhausting...

Congrats to you all on here! I'm a little previous, as our son Finn was born in June this year!
You're about to embark on the most amazing journey (says a man who's two years into it with his first! Certainly been amazing so far!)

At 17 weeks now and Mrs G has got a lovely little bump that appears to have just arrived over night.

I'm told that the nipper grows at an incredible rate from 16 - 20 weeks.

I'm very proud of our little bump and eagerly await seeing the little one for our twenty week scan soon.

They do appear out of nowhere, mine did at about 16 weeks or so... It's a lot more noticeable now nearing 25, and maternity clothes are an absolute necessity - good job they're so comfy!!

We have a couple of friends who are preganant and are due the same month but two weeks before us and I've had the worst bump envy!

Mrs G seems to have a daily delivery from ASOS with some new fangled pregancy item. I'm sure she's determined to replace evrey item of clothing she owns with a maternity equivalant.

I'm in bounce

Had our first scan yesterday but have to go back in 3 weeks due to being a bit early (11 weeks 4 days) to make sure they have formed ok but gives us another chance to see the little one amazing feeling seeing them wriggling around.

The Wife has been showing for about 5 weeks now :-D and was getting to the point where she could no longer hide it.

Congrats!

Twins? We had our scan at 11+1 and all
Was hunky dory, sure it will be for you too!

Some of the bump at the moment might be bloating, I had it quite bad to start with and then it disappeared to be replaced with bump later, but if it's twins bump will be bigger sooner!

smile

The father wouldn't have any connections to F1 by any chance?

Nah just the one but seems wrong calling it it. By the size of her you would think it was though biggrin
