Had our first scan yesterday but have to go back in 3 weeks due to being a bit early (11 weeks 4 days) to make sure they have formed ok but gives us another chance to see the little one amazing feeling seeing them wriggling around.
The Wife has been showing for about 5 weeks now :-D and was getting to the point where she could no longer hide it.

Nah just the one but seems wrong calling it it. By the size of her you would think it was though
It might be a bit of bloating then, especially if it's your firstI'm looking after our 2 year old niece today - Christ it's tiring... The next 15 weeks can't go quickly enough though - strange isn't it!!

Found out 2 weeks ago that my wife is pregnant.... Just over 5 weeks! Only just started trying!
Really really nervous about things going wrong and it's a challenge not telling the family!!
Mines been feeling very sleepy and looks abit bloated. Also been having stomach ache (which I hope is normal).
Hope all goes well!

Stomach ache is normal, as long as it's not severe or accompanied by bleeding. It's just everything stretching out and getting used to it's new job... It doesn't get any more comfortable as time passes! Really really nervous about things going wrong and it's a challenge not telling the family!!

Telling family is a difficult one- on the one hand you don't want to have to break bad news if things don't work out, but conversely you have more support should the worst happen.
We chose to tell our parents when we were about 5 weeks or so, but all others had to wait until after the scan for the news.
Congratulations
Well, after joining the PH Parents of 2012 thread and unfortunately having to leave due to a miscarriage, we finally have good news!!
My OH is pregnant and two weeks ago we had our 12 week scan (12+6) and everything was fine. It was surreal, he/she wouldn't stop moving which was quite comical, but I am still just stunned by it. She is due 28th March 2013 and our 20 week scan is 7th November.
I cannot wait! Congratulations to everyone else in here too. I wish you all the best and will keep my fingers crossed for everyone that all goes well.

We had our 20 week can yesterday and boy has the little one grown since our 12 week jobbie.
No longer is there an tiny alien looking thing in there but a fully functioning little baby!
Delighted to report that there are no obvious health concerns, the only issue being that I was determined to know the sex but was over ruled by an increasingky hormonal Mrs Green.
Incredible to think that the next time I see him/her they will be in my arms in 18 weeks time.

Glad to hear it!
87 days to go and counting for me and 10p - getting excited, and just a little nervous!!
So far we have got a Moses basket, a pile of clothes, a cot, car seat and pram, a baby swing thingy, and a baby bath. We're getting there slowly but surely - just have to move house now!

86 days for us. Cannot wait now! We have just done the move house thing, I wouldn't have wanted it to be much later.87 days to go and counting for me and 10p - getting excited, and just a little nervous!!
