Glad to hear it!
87 days to go and counting for me and 10p - getting excited, and just a little nervous!!
So far we have got a Moses basket, a pile of clothes, a cot, car seat and pram, a baby swing thingy, and a baby bath. We're getting there slowly but surely - just have to move house now!
86 days for us. Cannot wait now! We have just done the move house thing, I wouldn't have wanted it to be much later.87 days to go and counting for me and 10p - getting excited, and just a little nervous!!

I've got quiet excited about this and will be testing the various gadgets and fixtures to their death
Quinny Buzz is the potential first port of call.
Congratulations edition!
8 weeks left! We finally moved house on Saturday so it's lots of pottering about getting the house straight this week for me - lots of little breaks needed though as I'm starting to get backache a lot if I don't.
I've been struggling with a horrid chest infection over the last week, but it's hopefully starting to clear now
Biggest thing now outstanding is we can't quite find a boy's name we like enough - still plenty of time though!!

Shes happy enough but I didnt want to say "what if it comes early?" as this will just give her something else to worry about...
I guess im curious to know how common it is for a baby to be a full month premature?
My first was 3 weeks early. In in a similar ish predicament as I'm a 1hr flight from the missus 4 days per week. Am not relishing the phone call to say get home in a hurry I guess im curious to know how common it is for a baby to be a full month premature?
It's really difficult to say, as everyone is different.
I'm 33 weeks now and still managing, albeit more slowly, to get around ok - apart from getting in and out of the bath, which I need help with.
My midwife has told me to expect to start getting a lot bigger in the next few weeks though, as its only in the last weeks that the baby really puts it's weight on apparently.

So with my little one due 24th of Feb am I ok to scoot off for a weeks skiing with 'the lads' in January...
Whats the view on this? Too close or just fine?
Cheers
Too close. I had a chance to go 3 weeks before due date (I work for a ski company) but turned it down. How bad would you feel if you missed the birth of your own child?Whats the view on this? Too close or just fine?
