Question for a optician
Discussion
just try online with glassesdirect. The worst that can happen is that they say no...
My prescription is -2.0, bought my glasses from them no probs. Really, all you are buying is a piece of plastic formed to a shape, set into a frame. It's not like a heart pace-maker.
I have spoken with an ophthalmologist a few years ago who confirmed my thoughts around purchasing glasses online.
Contact lenses however are a bit more serious due to actual contact with eye.

First thing is:
- The combined SPH and CYL is greater than +/-8.00
I'm not sure how they sum them - your prescription is +5.75 sph, -3.75 cyl, so either they'll take that as +2 or 9.5 depending. If the latter they'll be unable to provide you glasses.
Also the CYL is right on the edge of what they can provide at -3.75.
