About 8mths ago i cut the tips off 3 fingers on my right hand and fractured 2 fingers at the same time.I always took the use of my right hand for granted and as it is my dominant hand i have been surprised how many simple everyday tasks i still struggle with,I have always been active and did alot of d.i.y/car repairs/gardening etc......
I will list the things that i still find very hard to do and i think alot of you will be suprised.
I cannot grip using my little/3rd/middle finger and cannot clench anything either.
Shutting car door properly.
opening a jar.
getting money from right side pocket.
holding a pen and writing coherently.
using a knife.
using a drill.
going up ladders.
pull start the lawn mower.
undoing the wheels nuts on car wheel.
carry a full shopping bag.
painting.
filling the kettle.
chopping food.
getting dressed.
getting a bath.
All the above may seem trivial but there are 101 other things that i am unable to do.
I will list the things that i still find very hard to do and i think alot of you will be suprised.

Im struggling to see why you cant do some of the tasks you list.

Wheel nuts - Use your other hand

I presume that some things maybe tricky etc but isnt that more down to the fact that you have spent most of your life with all your fingers and you will get used to how your hand is now over time + wouldnt you other hand learn to become the dominant one now ?

Its is difficult to slam a saab door shut with just my thumb + index finger and not for the 3 very sore inflammed fingers to come into contact with anything.Im struggling to see why you cant do some of the tasks you list.

My left hand is not as strong as my right and cracking alloy wheel nuts is difficult.
You should try using a hammer drill through brickwork with your lees dominant hand.
All the above can be done (painfully) but makes life difficult and you have to think before do anything.
Try putting some coins on a flat surface and pick them up just using your r/h thumb and index finger then put them in your left front jeans pocket with the same hand.Not easy is it?
Imagine going shopping and recieving the change from the checkout lady and opening your wallet and seperating the notes from the coins etc.. quickly.

After 8 mths it is getting harder as the bones were fractured on the knuckle joints and have partially fused,The ring finger has twisted around were it was severed and fractured.Growing up one of my best mates had cerebal palsy and only had the use of one hand.
He was epic on the Playstation, completed Grand Theft Auto 3 and San Andreas before I could. Pretty amazing to watch, he had to have the controller laying flat on the floor but that still meant he could use all the buttons.

OP - don't despair. At the moment you're listing stuff you can't do, but in time, you'll be listing stuff you're amazed you CAN do.
